Double debut for Stellies duo as South Africa held to draw
Thabo Moloisane and Devin Titus made their senior international debuts as South Africa were held to a 1-1 draw by Mozambique in their 2024 COSAFA Cup Group A opener.
It was a proud occasion for the Stellenbosch FC duo of Thabo Moloisane and Devin Titus who were both handed their senior international debuts by coach Helman Mkhalele during Bafana Bafana’s 1-1 draw against Mozambique on Wednesday evening.

Titus, recently crowned Carling Knockout Player of the Tournament, featured for 65 minutes and looked threatening in attack, while Moloisane played the full ninety minutes in the heart of defence.
Fellow club teammates Athenkosi Mcaba and Antonio van Wyk, who both previously featured for South Africa at the 2022 COSAFA Cup, were unused substitutes on the evening.

The quartet could be in action again on Saturday afternoon when the national team takes on Botswana in their second Group A encounter, with their opponents having been held to a goalless draw by Eswatini earlier on Wednesday.
