Reigning Carling Knockout champions Stellenbosch FC will begin their title defence with a Round of 16 encounter away to AmaZulu.

Stellenbosch will return to Durban, the venue of their Carling Knockout title triumph last season, after being pitted against home side AmaZulu in the Round of 16 of the 2024/25 edition of the competition.

The match between Stellies and Usuthu is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 19 October, with the final fixture and ticketing details set to be confirmed in due course.

Last season, Stellenbosch FC were crowned inaugural champions of the new-look competition after recording a 1-1 (5-4) penalty shootout win over TS Galaxy in the final at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Devin Titus was later named Carling Knockout Player of the Tournament, overcoming competition from teammates and fellow nominees Iqraaam Rayners and Thabo Moloisane to win the award.
