Stellenbosch FC will be looking to book their spot in a second consecutive Nedbank Cup semi-final after being drawn against SuperSport United in the quarter-final stage of the competition.

The draw for the quarter-final of the 2024 Nedbank Cup took place at the SuperSport studios on Monday evening and saw Stellenbosch FC pitted against SuperSport United in the last-eight of the competition.

While the final fixture details for the match are yet to be confirmed, Stellies will play host to Matsatsantsa in Stellenbosch for the encounter, which has been penciled into the calendar for the week of 13 April.

Steve Barker’s side previously defeated Motsepe Foundation Championship sides Pretoria Callies and Milford FC in the Round of 32 and Round of 16, respectively, recording a resounding 6-1 win over the latter in the most recent encounter.

Last season, Stellenbosch FC reached the semi-final stage of the competition but fell agonisingly short of a spot in the final after losing via a penalty shootout to eventual runners-up, Sekhukhune United.
