Stellenbosch FC signs Lesiba Nku from Mamelodi Sundowns
Stellenbosch Football Club is delighted to confirm the Deadline Day signing of Lesiba Nku on a permanent transfer from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Nku, who is renowned for his technical ability and dynamic attacking play, has been brought in to bolster Stellies’ front-line and to contribute towards the club’s ongoing domestic and continental ambitions.

The 28-year-old has experience playing at the highest level of South African and CAF football from his stints with Marumo Gallants, where he played alongside current SFC defender Ismael Toure, and Sundowns where he boasts winners’ medals in both the Premiership and the African Football League.
“Lesiba is a player we have admired for some time, and we are excited to bring him to Stellenbosch FC.” CEO Rob Benadie said.

Nku will wear the No. 7 jersey previously worn by former captain Deano van Rooyen. He could be in line to make his debut for the club during this weekend’s upcoming Betway Premiership clash against Sekhukhune United.
