The duo were on Thursday named in coach Hugo Broos’ 23-man squad for the set of crunch-clashes, which are set to take place on 7 June in Uyo, and on 11 June in Bloemfontein, respectively.
Rayners, who has seven senior international caps, was part of the previous national team squad that competed in the 2024 FIFA Series friendlies against Andorra and Algeria and scored in a 3-3 draw against the latter.
Adams, meanwhile, withdrew from that squad through injury but represented South Africa earlier in the year when he helped the country win a bronze medal at the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.
