Stellenbosch FC can confirm that Wonderboy Makhubu has completed a season-long loan to Kruger United ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

In terms of the loan agreement, newly promoted Kruger United retain the option to purchase Makhubu’s services on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old was named in United’s matchday squad for the first time on Tuesday and made his debut during their 2-0 Betway Premiership defeat to Durban City.

He previously joined Stellenbosch in January and made 13 appearances across all competitions, scoring his solitary goal during a 1-1 league draw against TS Galaxy in March.

The loan presents Wonderboy with an opportunity for regular first-team football, and the Club looks forward to seeing his continued growth over the course of the season.
