Four Stellenbosch players named in preliminary Bafana Bafana squad
Stellenbosch FC’s Jayden Adams, Thabo Moloisane, Iqraam Rayners, and Devin Titus have all been named in the preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
Stellenbosch could be well represented when South Africa commences its 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign next month after head coach Hugo Broos named Jayden Adams, Thabo Moloisane, Iqraam Rayners, and Devin Titus in his preliminary 36-man squad on Wednesday.

Adams and Rayners have won 12 caps between them for Bafana Bafana, with the former having also featured at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament which took place in January, while Moloisane and Titus have been called up to the senior national team for the first time.
South Africa is set to play two 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier matches next month with the first match scheduled to take place on 7 June against Nigeria in Uyo, and the second against Zimbabwe planned for 11 June at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Should the Stellies quartet make the final selection, they will report for camp in Roodepoort with the rest of the squad on 2 June, a week after the domestic DStv Premiership campaign concludes, before returning for a mid-season break following the qualifiers.
