Stellenbosch FC will play host to Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-finals of the 2024 Nedbank Cup.

Having overcome SuperSport United in the quarter-final of the Nedbank Cup, Stellenbosch FC will now have to defeat another Gauteng-based side in the form of Mamelodi Sundowns in order to reach the final of this year’s competition.

Stellies were pitted against the current DStv Premiership and African Super League champions in the semi-finals during Sunday’s draw, with Chippa United and Orlando Pirates set to compete in the other last-four clash.

Steve Barker’s side will be hoping to draw inspiration from last year’s edition of the tournament where they eliminated Masandawana at the quarter-final stage, with Iqraam Rayners in inspired form in front of goal that time around.
