Stellenbosch Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of legendary Bafana Bafana coach Clive Barker.

The 1996 CAF Africa Cup of Nations-winning coach, who was the uncle of Stellenbosch FC head coach Steve Barker, passed away on Saturday morning, the family confirmed in a statement.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Stellenbosch FC are with coach Steve and the rest of the Barker family, and reiterate calls for their privacy to be respected during this difficult time.
