Stellenbosch FC Ladies have parted ways with Head Coach Nathan Peskin and Assistant Coach Alan Theunissen with immediate effect.

The decision follows an internal review of the team’s progress and performance during the opening stages of the 2026-27 Hollywoodbets Super League campaign, which was deemed to have fallen short of the Club’s objectives for the season.

Head of Women’s Football, Shilene Booysen, will take charge of the team on an interim basis and will be in the dugout for this weekend’s league fixture against Richmond United.

Peskin and Theunissen joined Stellenbosch FC upon the formation of the SFC Ladies team in 2024 and guided the team to the 2025-26 Western Cape SASOL League title, winning all 18 of their matches en route to the championship.

The Club would like to thank both Nathan and Alan for their service and contribution to Stellenbosch FC, and wishes them all the best in their future endeavours.
