Supporters are requested to note the special arrangements in place for the Betway Premiership match between Stellenbosch FC and Orlando Pirates at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday, 5 May 2026.

As a safety precaution, the West Stand (behind the dugout) at Athlone Stadium is closed and will remain off limits for spectators due to the ongoing waterproofing to the lower tier of the stand.

As a result:

1. Limited tickets have been made available to supporters in order to comply with the revised safety capacity of the venue.
2. Access to the West Stand is strictly prohibited for the duration of the event. No entry will be permitted through access gates at P2 and P6.
3. Supporters arriving by private vehicles are required to park at P3 and access the venue at this point. Hickory Road will be closed beyond the P3 access point.
4. Pedestrian entry points will be opened at P4 and P5.
5. Cross Boulevard Road will be closed to public access and is reserved for VIP and accredited access only.

Gates open at 17h30, ahead of a 19h30 kick-off, and supporters are requested to arrive early in order to avoid and prevent traffic congestion in and around the stadium precinct.

Tickets are available to purchase for R80.00 from Webtickets and Pick’n Pay outlets. No tickets will be sold at the gates, and supporters without valid tickets are urged not to travel to the stadium.
