It is with profound sadness that Stellenbosch Football Club has learned of the untimely passing of our talented reserve team player, Jeandre Gaffoor (20).

At this time, the Club will not be making any further comment and respectfully requests that the privacy of his family and loved ones be honoured.

Jeandre joined Stellenbosch FC’s development ranks at the start of the 2024-25 campaign from Cape Town Spurs and featured prominently as the team achieved a runners-up finish in the DStv Diski Challenge last season.

He will be remembered fondly by his teammates, coaches, and staff, and his loss will be felt across the Club and wider football fraternity. The thoughts of everyone at Stellenbosch FC are with his family, friends, and loved ones.
