Stellenbosch FC can confirm that defender Liam De Kock has left the club following the expiration of his contract.

A product of Stellenbosch FC’s reserve team programme, De Kock was part of the club’s squads that won the 2021/22 and 2023/24 DStv Diski Challenge titles.

He made his professional debut in a 3-0 win over TS Galaxy in October 2023 and made five first-team appearances in total. Four of those outings came during last season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign, where he helped Stellies reach the semi-final stage of the competition.
