Ticket & fixture information for Simba SC second-leg clash
Stellenbosch FC will welcome Tanzanian giants Simba SC to Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban for the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals.
Trailing 1-0 on aggregate to a solitary goal from Simba’s Jean Ahoua in the first leg, Stellenbosch will be hoping to turn the tie around on home ground when they welcome the Reds to South African soil on Sunday afternoon.
The match will be played away from Stellies’ traditional home at Danie Craven Stadium due to the venue not meeting CAF’s eligibility requirements, as is the case with neighbouring Athlone Stadium, while DHL Stadium is also unavailable due to the conflicting rugby fixture between the Stormers and Benetton.
As a result, the team from the Winelands have taken the game to Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, where they previously hosted Nsingizini Hotspurs and RS Berkane in previous stages of the competition.
Tickets for the continental encounter are on sale for R30.00 from Webtickets and participating Pick n Pay outlets, and the match will also be broadcast live on SABC 1 and SuperSport channel 209.
