Stellenbosch Football Club has been drawn against Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-final of the 2024 MTN8 competition.

Stellenbosch FC will travel to Pretoria for the first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals later this month after being pitted against last season’s runners-up, Mamelodi Sundowns, in the final four.

Steve Barker’s side advanced to the next round of this year’s competition after recording a 3-1 quarter-final win over TS Galaxy at Danie Craven Stadium, courtesy of goals from Jayden Adams, Andre de Jong, and Fawaaz Basadien.

This is the second consecutive season that the team from the Cape Winelands will compete in the semi-finals, having suffered a narrow 2-2 aggregate defeat to Orlando Pirates on the away goals rule last time out.
