Stellenbosch Football Club has bid farewell to Qobolwakhe Sibande following the defender’s move to TS Galaxy.

Qobolwakhe Sibande has completed a permanent move to TS Galaxy after spending the last two seasons competing in the South African top flight with Stellenbosch FC.

The pacey full-back initially joined Stellies as a development player, teaming up with the reserve side, before making his professional debut with the club against Sekhukhune United in January 2023.

He went on to make 42 appearances across all competitions during his time in the Cape Winelands and departs with a Carling Knockout winners’ medal to his name.
