Bradley Mojela’s first Stellenbosch FC interview
Lehlogonolo Bradley Mojela believes he and Stellenbosch FC are a match made in heaven after completing his transfer to the club.
On Tuesday, Mojela was unveiled as Stellenbosch’s third signing of the season after completing a permanent transfer from DStv Premiership rivals, TS Galaxy.
Speaking to the club following his move, the 27-year-old revealed that Stellies’ style of play and ambition to win silverware were key factors in his decision to join Steve Barker’s ranks.
“I’m very excited to join the Stellenbosch family because the club plays a similar style of football to what I play and am used to. All the team wants to do is attack, score goals and win trophies,” Mojela said.
“My decision to join the club was motivated by the way Stellenbosch played throughout last season, going on a 25-match unbeaten streak which was a lovely thing for the club.
He added lightheartedly, “They beat my former team three times as well so I was also like, ‘Hey, if you can’t beat them, you must join them’.”

Mojela suffered defeat against Stellenbosch in the Carling Knockout final last season while on the books of TS Galaxy, but is hoping to add silverware to his cabinet now that he has crossed the divide.
“I’m hoping to win more trophies and titles with the team. As we saw last season, Stellenbosch won the Carling Black Label Cup and fell just short in the league and the Nedbank Cup, so maybe this season we can grab two or three trophies.
“I’m going to bring a lot of energy and look to motivate my teammates, and I hope to score a lot of goals as well,” he concluded.
