Stellenbosch FC will compete in the knockout stage of the 2024 Engen Knockout Challenge after successfully advancing through the group stage.

Reigning champions Stellenbosch FC progressed to the quarter-final of the Western Cape Engen Knockout Challenge after topping Group D, rounding out the stage with a resounding 4-0 win over FN Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

That result followed a 3-0 win for Jean-Pierre Farrugia’s side over Eyethu FC earlier in the day, and an opening-day stalemate against Hellenic FC, the latter of whom have also moved on to the knockout stage as group runners-up.

Stellenbosch FC will be in action again on Sunday morning when they take on Rebels FC at Erica Park, with the winner advancing to the last four of the competition.
