Stellenbosch FC will be looking to defend their title when they return to the Engen Knockout Challenge this weekend.

The Western Cape edition of the 2024 Engen Knockout Challenge is set to get underway at Erica Park in Cape Town this weekend, where reigning champions Stellenbosch FC will look to retain the title they won last year.

Jean-Pierre Farrugia’s charges have been drawn in Group D of the competition alongside Eyethu FC, FN Rangers, and Hellenic FC, and will kick off their title defence against the latter at 17h00 on Friday evening.

Stellenbosch FC Head of Youth Administration Morné Crumpton says tournaments like the Engen KO Challenge have helped their development programmes output.
