Since Stellenbosch FC’s founding in 2016, no fewer than 24 players from abroad have represented the club, spanning 18 countries and five continents around the world.

That number includes a CAF Africa Cup of Nations winner from Zambia, a former Borussia Dortmund defender from Germany, and internationals from New Zealand and Ivory Coast who both currently play for the club.

The foreign player with the most appearances for Stellenbosch FC hailed from Argentina, while Zimbabwe are the most represented the country, with four players from our neighbours having represented the club.
