Stellenbosch FC will face a quick turnaround from Saturday’s DStv Premiership encounter against Golden Arrows with a much-anticipated home clash against Moroka Swallows this Tuesday.
Stellies will play host to Swallows in a league encounter at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch on Tuesday, 19 September, on the back of recording a 0-0 draw against Golden Arrows in Durban over the weekend.
The mid-week match is scheduled to kick off at 19h30 and tickets are available to purchase for R50.00 from Webtickets and Pick ‘n Pay outlets. Gates open two hours before kick-off and supporters can also buy their tickets online here.
Free parking is available at the nearby Welgevallen Fields and supporters attending the match are encouraged to view the parking guide to avoid any complications
Steve Barker’s side have a proud record against Tuesday’s opponents, having won three and drawn four of their previous seven outings to maintain an undefeated record against the Dube Birds to date.
Stellenbosch’s chances have also been boosted by the return of Devin Titus, who is available for selection after serving a two-match suspension, although Thabo Moloisane remains sidelined following a red card picked up before the international break.
The most recent meeting between the Maroons and Moroka Swallows ended in a 3-0 victory for the team from the Cape Winelands, courtesy of a brace from Iqraam Rayners and a goal from Ibraheem Jabaar.
