The tournament, which has been made possible through a collaborative effort between the South African Football Association and UEFA Assist, is set to get underway on 27 March 2023 when South Africa take on Northern Ireland, before playing the hosts and Luxembourg on 29 March and 1 April, respectively.
Hendriks and Willems are set to depart with the team on 25 March and will return to South Africa on 3 April. Stellenbosch F.C. would like to wish them and the rest of the SA U-16 team the best of luck as they represent the country abroad.
