Stellenbosch FC has bid farewell to defender Omega Mdaka, who has completed a permanent transfer to AmaZulu FC.

Mdaka joined the Maroons in 2024 and enjoyed a goalscoring debut against Nszingizini Hotspurs in the CAF Confederation Cup, before going on to make 51 appearances for the Club across all competitions.

During his spell in the Winelands, the 22-year-old helped Stellenbosch FC reach back-to-back MTN8 finals, and he was nominated for the Club’s Young Player of the Season award in 2026.
