Stellenbosch FC added fresh silverware to the trophy cabinet after the club’s Ladies Reserves were crowned regional champions on Sunday, beating Warriors FC 3-0 to take home the title.
The triumph capped an impressive domestic season for the team, who suffered only one defeat en route to the final in what was the club’s first time competing in the competition, with Ilze Jones’ side now set to compete in the play-offs in an attempt to secure promotion to the Western Cape Sasol Women’s League.
Cameron Carolissen (pictured below) was named Player of the Match in Sunday’s final and fittingly ended the season as SFC Ladies Reserves’ leading goalscorer for the campaign.
The Reseves’ triumph highlights the rapid growth of women’s football at Stellenbosch, with the first team also currently unbeaten at the top of the 2025 SASOL Women’s League Western Cape standings in their stream, with two matches remaining.
Nathan Peskin’s side looks similarly set to reach their respective play-offs this year, where they will be looking to earn promotion to the HollywoodBets Super League.
