Stellenbosch Football Club is pleased to announce that Vuyolwethu Andrieas (20) has graduated from the club’s Diski programme to sign a professional contract with the club.

“First of all, I want to thank the Almighty God for giving me this opportunity,” Andrieas said. “I’ve always said that I’m willing to give everything for the badge, and I can’t wait to do that on this next chapter of my journey.

“I’ve been in the setup for a while, and that has given me a lot of strength. Training with the first-team players has motivated me to keep working hard to ensure I’m ready to take my opportunity with both hands when it comes.”

Born in Cape Town in 2005, Andrieas, a central midfielder, joined Stellenbosch FC’s reserve team programme in 2022 and helped the club win the DStv Diski Challenge and Premier League Next Generation Cup titles last year.
