Faiz Abrahams signs professional contract with Stellenbosch FC
Stellenbosch Football Club is pleased to announce that South Africa U-20 international Faiz Abrahams has graduated from the club’s Diski programme to sign a professional contract.
“I’m excited for the future at Stellenbosch FC,” Abrahams said. “This is one of the best clubs to be at in terms of developing and promoting young players and giving them the chance to showcase their talents.
“My goal is to play more regularly in the first team next season, and I can’t wait for the new campaign to get underway.”

The 20-year-old attacker, hailing from Valhalla Park, Cape Town, made his senior debut for Stellies against Kaizer Chiefs in February and was one of the standout players during the club’s 2024-25 DStv Diski Challenge campaign, recording 11 goals and six assists for the season.
He was also recently part of the South Africa U-20 squad that won the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and was crowned Stellenbosch FC’s reserve team Footballer of the Season at the club’s annual awards ceremony.
