Latest injury update on Lehlogonolo Mojela
Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker has provided an injury update on Lehlogonolo Mojela who has been sidelined since October with a knee injury.
Mojela has not played for Stellies since delivering a goalscoring performance in the MTN8 final defeat to Orlando Pirates after he subsequently suffered a recurrence of a pre-existing knee injury that required surgical intervention.

The 28-year-old underwent knee surgery in December and was expected to be sidelined for the majority of the season – a position which has not changed according to the latest injury update provided by coach Steve Barker.
“Bradley is upbeat and says he wants to play in March, but realistically it’s a 50/50 on whether he gets onto the park again this season,” Barker said during a press conference last week.
“If so, it would be in late April or May [that he might return] but once you get to that stage of the season, we need to consider if we risk it for the last three or four games, as opposed to waiting until next season.
“I think it will also depend on where we are in the league and how he is feeling, but it is a slim opportunity that he will play again this season.”
