Stellenbosch FC will be aiming to win a third Premier League Next Generation Cup on Sunday when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at the Loughborough University Stadium.

Having recorded a perfect three wins from three during the group stage, including an opening game victory over Sunday’s opponents, Stellenbosch FC have qualified for a third consecutive Premier League Next Gen Cup final.

Evangelos Vellios’ side previously ended as runners-up to Wolverhampton Wanderers in Mumbai, India, last season, and as champions the year before in the United Kingdom after recording a resounding 7-2 win over Leicester City.

This time around, the team from the Cape Winelands defeated the likes of Spurs, Aston Villa, and Crystal Palace en route to the showpiece event and are yet to concede a goal in this year’s edition of the competition.
