Stellenbosch FC’s 2024 Premier League Next Gen Cup campaign gets underway on Thursday with a clash against Tottenham Hotspur. Here is how you can watch the match.

The Stellenbosch FC reserve team, as reigning DStv Diski Challenge champions, has traveled to England to compete in the Premier League Next Generation Cup where they will represent South Africa for the third consecutive season.

Evangelos Vellios’ side have been drawn in Group A alongside Premier League opponents Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Tottenham Hotspur and will open their campaign against the latter on Thursday afternoon.

The match will be played at Aston Villa’s Bodymoor Heath Training Ground in Birmingham and is scheduled to kick off at 16h00 (South African time).

Stellies’ group stage matches in the United Kingdom, including the clash against Spurs, will be streamed live on SuperSport Schools, DStv channel 216, and on the SuperSport Schools app, which can be downloaded for free here.

In 2022, Stellenbosch emerged victorious from their stream after recording a resounding 7-2 win over Leicester City, with numerous players from that U23 now regulars within the club’s first-team set-up.
