Stellenbosch Football Club will take on TS Galaxy in the final of the 2023 Carling Knockout.

Having booked a ticket to the 2023 Carling Knockout final following a 3-0 win over Richards Bay on Saturday afternoon, Stellenbosch Football Club have now learned their opponents for the showpiece event after TS Galaxy defeated AmaZulu in the weekend’s other last-four encounter.

The Maroons and the Rockets will go head to head at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on 16 December to determine who will be crowned champions of the league cup, rebranded and relaunched as the Carling Knockout at the start of the campaign.

Steve Barker’s side reached the final, the club’s first-ever final in a cup competition, after an impressive run in the competition which saw them claim the scalps of Chippa United, Polokwane City, and Richards Bay, with all three previous encounters having been on the road.
