A message from the CEO of SAS and SFC, Rob Benadie, “Stellenbosch FC fully supports the recent statements from Government as well as the NSL Chairman in response to the COVID-19 virus pandemic. The decisions impact our club as follows:

Our PSL Team will return to training as soon as it is legally possible to do so. We have issued our players with innovative methods and ideas to keep themselves and their families active during the lock-down period. Various scenarios are being investigated by the League with respect to how the current PSL season will be concluded. Our much-awaited first PSL match in Stellenbosch will have to wait a while, but it will make us even hungrier to be successful!
The Multi-Diski Challenge has been terminated and means that our U21 Team will not play again this season. The Team can be very proud of their performances with a Top 8 finish and unbeaten at Idas Valley!

Our Youth Academy teams have been on an extended break and will also return to training as soon as it is possible to do so safely.
Our main concern now is for the wellbeing of our players, staff, supporters and partners during these uncertain times.
SFC encourages you to do whatever you can to slow down the spread of the virus and to help others wherever possible.

We especially thank all the healthcare workers and wish everyone a peaceful lock-down period.”
