De Jong named in New Zealand squad for friendlies against Colombia & Ecuador
Andre de Jong has been called up to the New Zealand squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Colombia and Ecuador in the United States.
Having made his return to the international fold during New Zealand’s international friendlies against Poland and Norway last month, Andre de Jong has once again made coach Darren Bazeley’s 23-man squad for the All Whites’ upcoming matches against Colombia and Ecuador.

New Zealand will face Colombia in Florida on 16 November before taking on Ecuador three days later in New Jersey, with both games being used as preparation for next year’s FIFA World Cup tournament that will be held across the States, Canada, and Mexico.
De Jong, who made his international debut against Canada in March 2018, has won 11 caps and scored two goals to date and joins the camp on the back of an impressive run of domestic form with Stellenbosch FC.
