Stellenbosch FC progressed to the Group Stage of the CAF Confederation after overcoming the challenge of Equatoguinean side 15 de Agosto de Akonibe in the Preliminary Round last month, and will discover their opponents at the live draw in Johannesburg on Monday.

The team from the Cape Winelands have been seeded in Pot 2 for the draw after reaching the semi-final of the Confed Cup last season during the Club’s maiden continental campaign – a feat that has since seen Stellies nominated for the 2025 CAF Club of the Year award.
Stellenbosch can draw opposition from Pot 1, which includes Zamalek, Wydad AC, USM Alger, and CR Belouizad; Pot 3, which houses Kaizer Chiefs and AS Otohô; and Pot 4, which boasts the likes of FC San Pedro, Nairo United, Olympique Club de Safi, Azam FC, Singida Black Stars, and Zesco United.

The draw for the CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage is scheduled to take place from 13h00 at SuperSport Studios in Johannesburg.
