The Stellenbosch FC squad list and numbers have all but been confirmed ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The new campaign is set to get underway on Sunday afternoon when Stellenbosch host AmaZulu at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town, with the match serving as the first opportunity to see some of the faces recruited and promoted to the first team squad.

Among them are Muzomuhle Khanyi and Siviwe Nkwali, who arrived from Hungry Lions and Cape Town Spurs, respectively, as well as former Belgium youth international, Henri Stanic, who joined the club after spending last season in Malta.

Additional recruitments will be announced in due course, and there have been a number of players promoted from the club’s reserve team during the off-season, including former DDC team captain Simthandile Sishi and Vuyolwethu Andrieas.

In terms of jersey numbers, there have also been several changes, including Khomotjo Lekoloane trading No. 15 for the No. 8 previously worn by Sihle Nduli, Thato Khiba swapping No. 19 for No. 12, and Chumani Butsaka moving from the No. 15 kit to the No. 33 strip he wore earlier in his career.
