Stellenbosch FC’s 2025-26 campaign will get underway on Sunday when the club hosts AmaZulu in an MTN8 quarter-final clash.

Having reached the final of the MTN8 last year, Stellenbosch FC will look to once again make a strong start to the competition this season when the club welcomes AmaZulu to DHL Stadium in Cape Town for the season-opening encounter.

Sunday’s clash will be the 16th meeting between the two sides across all competitions, with Stellies unbeaten in the last six, including back-to-back league wins during the 2024-25 Betway Premiership campaign.

The match will be played away from Stellenbosch due to the current condition and ongoing maintenance to restore the playing surface at the club’s traditional home, Danie Craven Stadium.
