Stellenbosch Football Club is delighted to announce Bafana Bafana international Jayden Adams has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

“It’s a very special feeling for me to extend my contract with Stellenbosch FC,” Adams said after signing his new deal.

“I started my career here in Stellenbosch so I’m very happy that I will be here for even longer, and hopeful that I will win trophies with the club in the near future.

Adams made his professional debut with Stellies against Chippa United as a 19-year-old in 2020, and is in line to make his 100th appearance for the Maroons in this weekend’s Carling Knockout semi-final against Richards Bay.

He previously helped the club’s reserve team win the 2021/22 DStv Diski Challenge and 2022 Premier League Next Gen Cup trophies, and has been capped three times for Bafana Bafana.

“Everyone at Stellenbosch Football Club is incredibly proud to see a talented, home-grown player like Jayden Adams commit his future to the club,” CEO Rob Benadie added.
