It was a campaign to remember for Stellenbosch FC after the club reached a first-ever Nedbank Cup semi-final and finished sixth in the DStv Premiership standings. Here are 51 facts from the season that has passed.
- Iqraam Rayners became the first Stellenbosch FC player to win the DStv Premiership Player of the Month award, winning back-to-back accolades for the months of February / March and April 2023.
- Iqraam Rayners scored six braces during the second half of the 2022/23 season.
- Three Stellenbosch FC players won awards at the 2022/23 PSL awards ceremony – Iqraam Rayners as the Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament, Olwethu Makhanya as the Young Player of the Tournament, and Mervin Boji as the DStv Diski Challenge Top Goalscorer.
